Publishing Merchandiser & Partner Relations Coordinator
This is a 9-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Santa Clara, CA.
Summary
The Books team is seeking a highly organized and proactive merchandiser to help connect readers and listeners with stories, information, and inspiration through digital books and audiobooks. This role supports a team dedicated to helping users discover their next read or listen while building a rich and engaging library experience.
Our Ideal Candidate
In this role, you will help merchandise and curate the digital books and audiobooks storefronts, driving discovery and engagement. You’ll partner with editorial, marketing, and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and compelling content experience.
This includes managing content updates, maintaining internal tools and processes, analyzing performance, and communicating results to leadership.
You will also help coordinate with publishing partners and support the team’s operational efficiency through thoughtful organization and process management.
Education And Experience
This opportunity is located in Santa Clara, CA, and requires hybrid on-site work.
The pay for this W-2 position is $55.97 per hour.
This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length-of-service and hours requirements.

- Passion for books and storytelling, with a strong foundation in digital merchandising and content operations.
- Proficient in content management systems, databases, and productivity tools such as Excel/Numbers and Keynote.
- Familiar with digital media, online retail, or publishing platforms and processes.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional partners, including marketing, editorial, and business teams.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities with exceptional organization.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing timelines and business needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Curious, relationship-oriented, and comfortable working with external partners.
