Audio Studio Engineer
This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Culver City, CA.
Summary
This role supports a high-volume, state-of-the-art production studio and plays a key part in ensuring seamless studio, post-production, and delivery operations. You’ll help maintain and troubleshoot the hardware, software, and infrastructure that power live and recorded content creation.
Our Ideal Candidate
In this role, you will provide on-demand support for studio, post-production, and delivery teams. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain and troubleshoot video and audio signal paths, robotic camera systems, lighting and control systems, SAN networking, PAM pipelines, and software tools across macOS, Windows, and Linux. This includes supporting workflow automation, coordinating vendor repairs and upgrades, and handling time-sensitive support requests to keep production running smoothly.
You will also assist with maintaining studio equipment, creating or updating technical drawings, and installing various cabling and infrastructure components.

The pay for this W-2 position is $98.50 per hour

Our Ideal Candidate
- 5 years of experience providing technical support and troubleshooting in live, live-to-tape, or post-production environments
- Passion for media production with a strong foundation in audio/video signal flows, workflows, and technical systems
- Proficient in PAM/MAM systems, large-scale SAN environments, Fibre Channel networking, and multi-OS support
- Familiar with cinema cameras, robotics, lighting systems, and production pipeline automation
- Skilled in collaborating with production teams, engineering partners, and third-party vendors
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal oversight
- Flexible and adaptable to high-demand environments, shifting priorities, and off-hours scheduling
- Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
- “Can-do” problem solver who thrives in fast-paced production settings

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Background in broadcast engineering, studio operations, or post-production technical support
- Preferred experience with studio equipment repair, SAN systems, metadata workflows, and AutoCAD
