Project Manager - Documentation
Visual Merchandising Programs (VMP) Team
This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role located in the United States.
Summary
This role supports the Visual Merchandising Programs (VMP) team, which manages end-to-end processes for product signage, graphics, window decals, displays, product presentation elements, and accessory experiences. The Project Manager will drive the development, documentation, and communication of critical store setup guides, ensuring flawless retail execution aligned with the company's high standards for customer experience and brand integrity.
Our Ideal Candidate
5 years of experience in project management, documentation, or creative operations
Passion for retail, design, and visual merchandising with a strong foundation in project management and process improvement
Proficient in Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and related productivity software, with strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Familiar with creative development workflows, retail environments, and vendor management
Skilled in collaborating with creative teams, vendors, and field teams across a matrixed organization
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, tight deadlines, and multiple stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
Self-motivated, organized, able to problem-solve quickly, and comfortable facilitating feedback loops across departments
Job Description
In this role, you will manage and drive the planning and execution of large, complex, and strategically significant store setup guides to support the launch of new products and campaigns.
You'll partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent formatting, language, structure, and on-time delivery of setup documentation. This includes overseeing vendor relationships, verifying installation steps, managing risk, and creating processes for ongoing updates.
You will also support maintaining accurate and up-to-date internal tools, templates, and resources to ensure the Visual Merchandising Programs (VMP) team's ongoing success and flawless retail execution.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in project management, communications, business, design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in retail, creative production, environmental design, or merchandising programs
Preferred experience with Agile methodologies, vendor onboarding, and/or business process development
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $63.00 - $65.60 per hour.
This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
