Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and attract potential clients through networking, community events, and telemarketing campaigns
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of clients’ financial situations to recommend suitable life insurance products
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring clarity and mutual agreement
- Manage sales administration tasks, including documentation, policy processing, and benefits administration
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to expand client base and increase brand awareness
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims or policy updates
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and marketing strategies to grow client portfolios
- Ability to handle telemarketing efforts ethically while adhering to industry regulations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to client engagement
- Knowledge of benefits administration and compliance standards such as HIPAA is a plus
