We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Manager who enjoys both teaching and leadership. This role supports the Center Director in managing daily operations, mentoring instructors, and creating an engaging learning experience for students and families.
Position Overview
As the Assistant Manager, you will help lead the learning center while working directly with students and instructors. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about helping students succeed in math.
You will play a key role in staff leadership, student instruction, and overall center success.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with parents and students to support enrollment and retention goals
- Lead and mentor instructors to deliver high-quality math instruction
- Participate in ongoing training and leadership development
- Maintain the center to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Teach math concepts in a clear, engaging, and supportive way
- Work with students of various ages and skill levels (up to Algebra 1 and beyond)
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with instructors to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction
Qualifications
- Strong math skills and ability to explain concepts clearly
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Leadership or team management experience
- Collaborative, team-first mindset
- Passion for education and helping students succeed
What We Offer
- Competitive base pay ($22–$24/hour) plus performance-based bonus
- Heavy part-time schedule: Monday - Thursday between the hours of 1:00pm - 8:00pm plus Sundays during school year from 12:30pm-4:30pm (28–32 hours per week)
