About the role

Some students arrive at Mathnasium convinced they're just not math people. Others come because they love math and want more of it. What they have in common is that they're looking for something beyond what a classroom alone can offer — and our job is to deliver that, one student at a time, using a method that works.

As Center Manager, you're the person who makes it all happen. You support and develop the team, set the tone, keep families connected, and make sure every student who walks through the door leaves a little more confident than when they arrived. It's a real operations role with real accountability — and the results are ones you can actually see. We provide training and ongoing support to set you up for success.

Schedule

Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. Core hours are Monday through Thursday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. End times may flex slightly based on center needs. Friday and Sunday are off.

Compensation & benefits

Base pay is $24.00 per hour. This role also includes a quarterly performance bonus of up to $2,000, earned across three metrics: student retention, revenue, and revenue growth. Bonuses are not guaranteed — a strong quarter can earn the full amount; a quarter that misses targets may earn nothing. Specific thresholds are discussed during the interview process.

Paid time off accrues at one hour per 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 80 hours, usable for vacation, personal days, or sick time.

What you'll own

• Operations: Daily center management — environment, data-informed decision-making
• Team: Participate in the hiring process, onboard, mentor, and evaluate instructional staff; run staff meetings and professional development
• Student experience: Build and monitor personalized learning plans; catch setbacks before they compound
• Family relationships: Deliver meaningful progress updates, handle concerns with empathy, present Mathnasium's value confidently to prospective families
• Enrollment growth: Convert trial sessions to enrollments, track key metrics, execute community events like Math Nights
• Curriculum: Implement the Mathnasium curriculum with fidelity across all grade levels

Requirements

• Must be able to commute reliably to Chatham, NJ 07901 — fully in-person role
• Available to work the posted schedule, including Saturdays
• Eligible to work in the United States
