Senior Director of Franchise Learning & Development

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Franchise Learning & Development to lead the design, execution, and ongoing evolution of Mathnasium’s franchise training and adoption strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring franchise owners and their teams are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to successfully implement company initiatives, operate effectively, and deliver strong student outcomes.
Partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, this position drives learning programs that support operational consistency, initiative adoption, and long-term franchise success. The Senior Director also leads the planning and delivery of learning experiences for Mathnasium’s bi-annual convention and other key development events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of franchise training and implementation initiatives.
- Design and deliver training programs that enable franchise owners to effectively train, lead, and develop their teams.
- Drive adoption of new tools, systems, and company initiatives through structured implementation and reinforcement strategies.
- Develop scalable training resources, toolkits, and playbooks to support consistent execution across the franchise network.
- Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content quality, usability, tracking, and alignment with operational needs.
- Partner with executive leadership and functional teams to align training initiatives with business priorities and KPIs.
- Lead curriculum development and execution for Mathnasium’s bi-annual convention and ongoing professional development programs.
- Manage and mentor a training team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Measure training effectiveness through participation data, adoption metrics, and feedback, and continuously refine programs.
- Support in-market and live training efforts as needed, including travel to field locations.
Skills & Experience
- The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of training leadership, implementation discipline, and franchise operations understanding:
- Bachelor’s degree in Training, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 5 years of experience leading training and implementation efforts for multi-unit or franchise organizations
- Proven success driving adoption of new tools, systems, or operational initiatives
- Experience managing training teams and large-scale program rollouts
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and improve training effectiveness
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Docebo preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles and change management practices
- Experience in franchise, education, or service-based organizations preferred

Pay: $150000.00 - $170000.00 / year
