Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center
• Lead and motivate team members by developing them professionally and personally
• Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships
• Conduct sales by promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Administer student assessments, identify learning gaps, and develop customized learning plans developed by Mathnasium
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
• Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Building and Fostering a good center community

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with students and improving their educational experience
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred but not required

All applicants are required to provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Additional Responsibilities:

In addition to conducting all the tasks and maintaining all the competencies of the center director position, Center Directors are required to have knowledge and be competent on all the tasks and competencies of the Instructor, Lead Instructor, and Assistant Center Director positions as well.

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC (\Mathnasium\). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Our teaching method, the Mathnasium Method™, is the life’s work of Larry Martinek, Mathnasium’s Chief Instructional Officer and a teacher and math teaching consultant in the Los Angeles area for more than 35 years. The Mathnasium Method™ uses a time-tested, customized program which stems from a unique assessment to identify what students need to improve their math skills. We offer personalized instruction, proprietary worksheets, and games to build Number Sense and provide a fun and supportive environment in which children can learn and practice math.
