Mathews Brothers —Window & Door Service Technician – Exeter, NH $28–$34/hr overtime · Company vehicle · Full benefits · Year-round, full-time (45-48 hours/week)
We are seeking a technician who resides within our service territory, preferably in the Portsmouth, Exeter, Seabrook, Amesbury, Dover, or Rochester area. This is a fully field-based role with no daily commute to a company office. Technicians dispatch directly from home to customer sites and return home each evening.
Mathews Brothers has built windows and doors in New England for more than 170 years. Our service techs are the face of that reputation with homeowners, builders and dealers.

What you'll do
- Diagnose and fix window and door issues for homeowners and contractors
- Repair and replace hardware, weatherstripping, glass, screens, locks and balances
- Complete warranty inspections and document your work
- Explain products and fixes clearly to customers
You're a fit if you have
Experience servicing or installing windows and doors, strong mechanical, carpentry, or field service skills [we'll train you on our products]
- Strong customer service skills
- Confidence working independently in a local territory
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Comfort with basic computer reporting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders
Bonus: Experience with major window and door manufacturers (Andersen, Marvin, Harvey, Pella, JELD-WEN, etc.) and knowledge of proper flashing, weatherproofing, and water-management practices for window and door installations.
