SUMMARY Unloads cylinder trailers and distributes them within the establishment by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. - Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine what cylinders need to be moved, gathered, or distributed. - Conveys cylinders from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. - Sorts and places cylinders according to predetermined sequence such as size, type of gas, retesting date or color. - Checks cylinders for proper labeling. - Assembles customer orders from stock and places cylinders on trucks. - Transfers cylinders to and from filling cages, trucks, and storage areas. - Records daily production data. - Drives forklift to distribute cylinders throughout the warehouse. - Assists with other warehouse duties as needed. Required Skills: LANGUAGE SKILLS - Excellent language skills. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Excellent math skills. REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. - Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
