Job Summary:
The Statistical Process Control Statistical Quality Control Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, cleaning, processing, and interpreting data to derive actionable insights that help Matheson make informed decisions, improve performance, and solve problems. Key responsibilities include performing statistical analysis, identifying trends, creating data visualizations, and communicating findings through reports and dashboards to Operations, Sales, Product Management and Senior Management. Data analysts use tools like SQL, Excel, and NWA or Minitab statistical software, and their findings to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Education - Bachelor's Degree in the Technical Field
- Experience in SPC/SQC in Electronics Industry
- Experience in the gas industry or electronics industry preferred
- Stong Computer Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (NWA, Minitab)
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and draw meaningful conclusions
- Understanding of statistical techniques like regression analysis to interpret data patterns
- Three or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst
- Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Strong skills in communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Good Time Management Skills
