Role Overview

We are seeking Generative AI Engineers to join dedicated client teams supporting leading Fashion Retail and B2C Retail organizations across enterprise AI transformation initiatives.

This role focuses on designing and building production-grade GenAI applications, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and AI-powered enterprise solutions embedded directly within client environments. You’ll partner closely with business stakeholders, engineers, data scientists, and consulting teams to solve real-world retail challenges across merchandising, customer experience, retail operations, digital commerce, and supply chain functions.

As a GenAI Engineer at MathCo, you will work hands-on with modern LLM ecosystems, cloud-native AI tooling, and scalable enterprise architectures to deliver measurable business impact.

As a GenAI Engineer, you will:

• Design and build enterprise-grade Generative AI applications using modern AI frameworks and cloud-native tooling.
• Develop agentic workflows and multi-step AI orchestration systems using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and semantic search systems leveraging vector search capabilities.
• Integrate large language models into enterprise applications and retail business workflows.
• Develop AI-powered experiences supporting merchandising, customer engagement, retail operations, and digital commerce use cases.
• Collaborate directly with embedded client teams to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Contribute to scalable reusable frameworks, accelerators, and enterprise AI best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Generative AI solutions using Python and modern AI orchestration frameworks.
• Build and maintain agentic AI workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Develop APIs and enterprise applications using FastAPI, Streamlit, and React.
• Implement semantic retrieval and vector search systems to support enterprise knowledge discovery and AI copilots.
• Design and optimize session management and conversational memory workflows for enterprise AI applications.
• Work extensively within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Agent Compute.
• Integrate foundational LLMs such as Gemini Enterprise, OpenAI, and similar models into enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain scalable cloud-native AI pipelines and deployment workflows using Github Actions and modern CI/CD practices.
• Monitor model performance and identify issues such as hallucinations, latency, reliability concerns, or model drift.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solutions align with client business objectives and enterprise technical standards.

Required Experience

• 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or data science.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying Generative AI applications in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building agentic workflows, semantic retrieval systems, and enterprise AI applications.
• Experience working within cloud-native AI ecosystems, preferably GCP.
• Strong understanding of LLM architectures, vector search, and retrieval systems.
• Exposure to Retail, Fashion Retail, or B2C Commerce domains strongly preferred.
• Experience collaborating directly with enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field required.
