Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Plating Operator in the Department is key in assisting with meeting the department’s goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required.
Responsibilities:
Plating Operator is responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coals to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width with measuring devices
Requires set up of the plating machine including interpreting process sheets and setting machine parameters
Responsible for operating the machine while adhering to safety requirements, quality parameters and in-process checks
Make mechanical adjustments as needed
Performs data entry into the SAP software system
Requirements:
At least 1-3 years of previous manufacturing experience working with chemicals is required
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience with performing multiple complex set ups preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and/or instructions
Ability to understand and perform basic math working with decimals
24.20 - 34.80 USD Hourly
