JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain and Repair Manufacturing Equipment and Facility Systems. To complete assigned Preventative Maintenance tasks and order needed parts to complete tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with the PM database and assist in creating PMs for additional facility systems.
• Performs maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems, to include CNC machines, manual machine shop equipment, emergency generators cooling water systems and vacuum systems.
• Establishes procedures and contacts to ensure timely repairs of equipment requiring minor repairs on a frequent basis.
• Selects and specifies materials and parts for repair, maintenance, and improvement of systems/machines.
• Monitors operation of the systems/machines to locate and remedy problems promptly
• Basic welding operations
• General building maintenance
• Prepares and submits periodic reports to management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of three (3) years field experience in working on electro-mechanical systems. High vacuum systems experience a plus.
• Computer literacy, with database experience. SAP experience a plus.
• Experience working with basic tools preferred (i.e. drill press, brake, multimeter, etc.)
• Good oral and written skills to prepare and deliver reports to management.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING REQUIRED: Requires the use of safety glasses and safety shoes. Other, more specialized protective gear may be required occasionally.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate both orally and written.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The electrical induction melt technology used to heat the coils on the vacuum induction melters can interfere with the operation of a pacemaker.

Pay Range:

Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
