As a Senior Crane Technician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing crane and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your role requires strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform skilled tasks in the repair of and maintenance of hoists, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls-magnetic and variable frequency drives
- Run conduit
- Pull wires and make terminations
- Address, mediate, and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and issues.
- Interact regularly with customers.
- Acquires uses and continuously develops personal technical and professional knowledge of products and general managerial skills to assist customers and other company personnel.
- Perform skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of hoists and cranes
- Apply technical expertise in determining work methods and procedures
- Complete maintenance requirements as scheduled for our customers
- Maintaining tools and machinery in good working order
- Troubleshoot sources of problems by observing mechanical equipment in operation at job sites
- Replace defective parts and adjusting equipment
- Control downtime by performing routine maintenance and instructing workers on the proper operation of equipment at customer job sites
- Use machine shop instrumentation and equipment to fabricate, repair parts, maintain equipment parts, and supply inventories.
Hiring Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to pass a post offer, pre-employment drug screen, and background check
5 years electrical experience
3 years of crane experience
Reference Checks
Valid Driver’s License
QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma
Candidate must have electrical, hydraulic, and electric motor knowledge
Must be able to read and take direction in English
Compensation and Hours
Basis for unit of salary/pay: Hourly
Salary: Salary based on experience and aptitude of candidate
Hours per week: 40
Shift: Day/Emergency Weekend Callouts
