Overview:
We are seeking two skilled CNC Lathe/Mill Machinists with plastics experience to join our team. As a CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision plastic parts and components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
-Setup and operate CNC HAAS lathes/mills and Kia lathes (Fanuc control)
-Perform first piece and in-process inspection
-Read and interpret blueprints, and job orders to determine machine set-up and production methods
-Use precision measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, Keyence, PiTapes, etc. to ensure accuracy of finished products
-Ensure machining operations are properly functioning and make adjustments as necessary
-Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
-Follow safety guidelines and procedures
-Perform regular housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
-Minimum 2 to 5 years CNC Lathe/Mill experience
-Experience machining various plastics
-Working knowledge of controls and inspection equipment
-Strong understanding of GD&T
-Work hours: Monday-Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM plus overtime when needed.
