Materelli Home Health is a long-term care and rehabilitation center that provides exceptional care to patients in need. We are currently seeking a compassionate, compassionate, and dependable Personal Care Assistant to join our amazing team!
Job Description:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing assistance and personal care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly, and passionate about providing great care. You will help patients retain their dignity, comfort, and mobility in their homes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.
- Assist with household activities such as cooking, cleaning, medication reminders, etc.
- Transporting patients to and from doctors appointments or hospital visits.
- Assist with clients personal care activities such as medication reminders, bathing, dressing, etc.
- Help clients take prescribed medications or change medications when they don't like the taste on the first dose
- Provide emotional support along with physical support to our patients during these tough times
- Track patient progress and update doctors and families on clients’ well-being
- Communicate with patients and their family members online in the client’s online medical record
- Greet visitors who come to visit patients in person or via phone call or assist them with the process of calling in their visit online
Required Skills:
- Experience working as a caregiver (preferred)
- Attention to detail with an outstanding track record in customer service
