Heavy Equipment Operator
We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in our Miami, FL location.
About Us:
Matco Industries, Inc. specializes in railroad based logistics and distribution as well as aggregate and associated materials sales.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for unloading rail cars with an excavator. Associated duties will include forklift, loader, and other equipment operation as well as general labor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and follow safety regulations.
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
- Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met. See more occupations related to this task.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years relevant work experience
- Must be physically able and experienced in similar equipment operation
- Must have reliable transportation
- Work environment is outdoors
