Our services are uniquely tailored to each patient, encompassing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), substance use counseling, mental health therapy, and psychiatric care.Our Vision: To guide each patient on a personalized recovery journey, addressing their physical, emotional, and daily needs.Our Mission: To integrate medication-assisted treatment with comprehensive behavioral healthcare and ongoing support services to effectively manage substance use disorders.Our Core Values of Belonging, Compassion, Respect, Curiosity, Resilience, and Performance guide everything we do.Key ResponsibilitiesYour role will be focused on maximizing provider efficiency and ensuring a smooth patient experience.Provider & Charting Support:Serve as a key clinical partner to our providers by drafting and preparing patient charts and notes in the EHR under provider oversight.Assist in the integration of new technologies, including AI-driven tools, to improve charting efficiency and provider workflow.Coordinate with staff to ensure all necessary information is ready for provider review.Patient Triage & Clinical Duties:Triage patients (gathering vitals, updating medical history, and documenting chief complaints) to prepare them for their provider visit.Administer injections safely and accurately, with a complete understanding of protocols.Manage injection inventory, including logging, storing, and prepping materials.Collect and process lab specimens (e.g., UDS) as per provider orders.Patient Experience & Coordination:Educate patients on available services and provide helpful resources.Ensure smooth and efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of clinical and administrative areas.What You'll Need to SucceedActive and unrestricted LPN license in Maryland.The Right Mindset for Addiction Medicine: This role requires a high degree of compassion, resilience, and flexibility. We are looking for a nonjudgmental person who is dedicated to supporting patients through recovery and is enthusiastic about helping to build and refine this unique clinical role.Tech-savvy and Adaptable: Proficiency with browser-based EHR systems and Google Workspace. Crucially, an eagerness to learn and help implement new technologies (like AI tools).Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and support providers in a fast-paced environment.Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly interact with patients, providers, and other staff.Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for travel between clinic locations.Availability for the required schedule: This role requires evening and Saturday shifts.Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, drug screening, and providing proof of influenza vaccination (or a valid exemption).Schedule & LocationFull time <30 hours a weekTravel to the Greater Baltimore Area locations is required (Annapolis, Dundalk, Havre de Grace, Laurel, Towson, Westminster)Evenings and every Saturday is required.
