Role Description
The Tenant Liaison supports Portfolio Managers in delivering exceptional resident experiences and maintaining effective tenant relations across a residential property portfolio. This role assists with tenant communication, issue resolution, service coordination, and compliance-related follow-up while upholding Matchbox’s standards for service, responsiveness, and professionalism. The Tenant Liaison helps ensure smooth property operations by coordinating with internal teams, documenting interactions, and escalating tenant concerns to Portfolio Managers as appropriate. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting overall portfolio performance.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day property management operations, including investigating complaints, resolving problems, and coordinating maintenance.
- Assist with conducting routine property inspections to ensure standards and safety are maintained.
- Assist with leasing activities, including marketing vacant units, participating in marketing events, showing properties, and following up with prospective tenants.
- Maintain accurate records and operational data in Rent Manager, using checklists and progress reports to track tasks and updates.
- Provide clear, professional communication and customer service, while complying with company policies, training requirements, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
- 2 years in customer service, property management or applicable sales positions
- Some College (preferred, but not required)
