As a member of our retail staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while promoting our range of high-quality matcha products. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to engage customers through product demonstrations and upselling techniques.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and product selections.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering practices.
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about our matcha offerings and promote sales.
• Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
• Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations and inventory management.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
• Foster effective communication with team members to ensure a cohesive work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in grocery store settings.
• Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership abilities within a team environment.
