Panama International Restaurant (by Caribbean Soul Kitchen LA), began with husband & wife duo, Chef RJ & Mercedes in 2020. In our small home kitchen it became ground zero for our now famous house made seasoning & sauces and beverages. We began sharing our food and flavors locally and in 2021 we opened our first brick & mortar. In late 2025 we opened our restaurant and venue - 3000 sq ft of delicious space in Long Beach California. As the First & Only Panamanian restaurant on the west coast. We offer some of the best Sancocho, Oxtail including Pescado, Red Snapper, Patacones, Ceviche, Tamale, Yuca Frita, Carimonola. Role Description
Join this dynamic restaurant team as we seek enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to fill both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) positions. Duties
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the dining area
• Assist with, food presentation, and ensuring dishes meet quality standards
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, demonstrating strong culinary skills and knife techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
• Support catering events and special functions by preparing meals, serving guests, and managing food presentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow and timely delivery of orders
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and sanitation throughout all food preparation processes
Skills
• Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment, including fine dining settings preferred
• Strong culinary background with skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
• Knowledge of kitchen, dinning and bar standards
• Proficiency in food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
• Excellent serving skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with menu planning, catering operations, and kitchen equipment usage
