Job Overview
Match Staffing is hiring for an Assembler Lead.
Schedule: 12 hour Rotating Shift (6am-6pm)
The primary responsibility of the Assembler Lead is to oversee production processes ensuring all required people, parts, methods, and components are properly organized and staged for safe and efficient production. The Lead possesses comprehensive knowledge of all production standards operating procedures related to the assigned production line, specifications, volume and cost schedules, waste reduction targets, and quality standards. This role encompasses the operation of pertinent machinery, tools, and equipment to execute standard and production duties in a secure and safe manner. Responsible for quality control as the final checkpoint to identify defects and packaging errors. Additionally, the Lead provides coaching and guidance to operators while upholding safety standards and workplace cleanliness across all operational zones.
Duties
- Leads production staff in APCO, chemical, tooling, recycle, or manufacturing facilities to ensure adherence to production schedules, shipment deadlines, daily productivity targets, and accurate productivity reporting.
- Operates production equipment to fill containers and package chemical solutions efficiently.
- Mixes liquid chemical solutions in batches using pre-formulated barrels.
- Drives operational planning to achieve product line Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Adheres to safe startup procedures for equipment to safeguard all team members.
- Ensures that all necessary raw materials and tools (e.g. bill of materials) are available at the product line’s start of each shift.
- Conducts hourly quality assurance checks on the product line to uphold quality standards.
- Ensures that tasks on the production line adhere to standard operating procedures specifications, and schedules.
- Verifies that all team members possess the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Performs light maintenance duties as required.
- Maintains, calibrates, and adjusts equipment in accordance with manufacturing specifications.
- Keeps precise daily production records for analyzing manufacturing performance.
- Fosters a safety culture and raises awareness in accordance with DiversiTech’s safe work policies and philosophy.
- Performs Operator tasks as required to meet daily output targets.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area, ensuring no safety hazards exist.
- Manages employee schedules, authorizes timecards, and provides training on performance standards and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
- 3 - 5 years of experience with at least 3 years as a Production Operator III or equivalent experience in a manufacturing production facility, preferably in injection molding, plastics recycling, or chemical production.
- 2 – 3 years of experience with complex machines and providing front line leadership to production staff
- Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and previous working experience operating complex and dangerous machinery
- Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Proactive “self-starter” with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have team leadership skills and problem solving skills

- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) - HIGHLY PREFERRED
