JOB SUMMARY
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides treatment to children and adults of all ages with disabilities, injuries, and illnesses under the supervision of occupational therapists. COTA’s provide direct hands-on assistance conducting general activity programs and assists in implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups. Observes, records and reports to primary supervisor the condition, reactions and responses related to such assigned duties. Performs as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist and carries out duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Texas License and registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association; graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program; new graduates are accepted. Current CPR thru American Heart Association
