Qualifications and Skills
- 0-3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or a related IT infrastructure role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- A strong, demonstrable understanding of modern cybersecurity principles, network topologies, and intrusion detection methods.
- Proficiency with core networking protocols and concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, 802.1Q trunking).
- A proactive and analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
- Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security , or similar.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade networking and security vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and networking services.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools to streamline network operations.
- Experience in a healthcare IT environment or another regulated industry.
