Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position responsible for daily gas scheduling, balancing, and operations support for various pipeline and plant assets in Matador’s regions of operation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate the movement of natural gas to meet contractual obligations
- Complete daily and monthly nomination deadlines
- Work closely with accounting to resolve rate and volume discrepancies
- Provide trading with accurate and timely notice of operational developments including imbalance positions, capacity availability, and pipeline operational status
- On-call evenings and weekends and holidays
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Education and Experience:
- Degree in accounting, business, math, or a related field.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, internal departments, outside operators, field personnel, and outside parties.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Team player mentality.
- Willingness to learn new applications and develop competence in any software that is required for the position.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated personality with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Training will be provided to develop competence in software.
Salary : $65,900 - $83,500
