What You’ll Do
Craft Kitchen Ambassadors support the daily food service operations and help maintain an efficient, organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities include:
Working directly under the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Preparing ingredients and maintaining proper prep levels and pars
Assisting with assembly, plating, and expediting of menu items
Supporting kitchen operations during busy service periods and events
Maintaining kitchen equipment including refrigerators, cooking equipment, prep stations, and cookware
Assisting with dishwashing and maintaining a clean work environment
Supporting food inventory and preparation for daily operations
Ensuring food is prepared safely and in accordance with sanitation standards
Maintaining consistent portioning and recipe standards
Helping control food cost through careful portioning, waste reduction, and proper product handling
Minimizing waste by using ingredients efficiently and following kitchen procedures
Supporting overall kitchen organization and efficiency
Assisting with accommodating guest preferences when needed
Working both independently and as part of a team depending on service demands

Experience and Skills
Previous line cook experience or strong cooking ability preferred
Kitchen leadership or management experience a plus
Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy event shifts
Certifications and Requirements
Familiarity with Florida Department of Health food handling standards
ServSafe Food Handler Certification (may be provided after hire)
Clean driving record and ability to be insured if operational support is needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain on feet for extended periods
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to move up and down steps when required
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
