What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stand Up Hilo Driver (Box Room ) Night Shift position at Mastronardi Produce?
The Livonia Distribution Center, a 400,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7; is currently seeking Stand Up Hi-Lo Drivers to join our team!
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Monday - Friday
5pm - 1:30 am
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operate an Electric Stand-up Hi-Lo to maintain the flow of produce inventory in the warehouse.
- Follow the Mastronardi Packaging Specs and requirements to ensure safe passage of produce to destination.
- Utilize our WMS to properly select, load, inspect and sort product per supervisors’ instructions and guidance.
- Perform basic tag and paperwork functions with high accuracy to ensure integrity of pallet movement and food safety traceability.
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
- Report any product quality issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Operate barcode scanner
- Maintain the general clean-up of the warehouse throughout the day.
- Ability to read and understand daily work instructions and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of at least 6 months operating a Stand-up Hilo OR one year operating a Sit-down Hilo
- Must Pass Onsite Hilo Driving Test
- Ability to work in our refrigerated warehouse, 50-degree controlled temperature zones.
- Stand, walk, bend continuously during majority of 12hr shift.
- Lift up to 30 lbs. repetitively.
- Complete a background and drug screening.
- Possess Valid Driver’s License or Current Eye Exam (within the last year)
- Need computer skills to place orders inside company system
- Driver will also be required to operate box machines plus flex as necessary
