The essential function of this position is to oversee and manage all daily activities within the Production Department. The incumbent must ensure that all orders are completed according to customer specifications, on time, at the correct packaging levels, and within budget. To maintain strict compliance with Health and Food Safety guidelines, Grade-Out procedures, production standards, and governmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities within the Production department.
- Set and enforce specific performance expectations for quality, cost, organization, and commitment to the production management team.
- Monitor the status of daily order requirements and ensure timely completion to meet ready times within customer specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- At least five years' experience in a production environment; produce industry preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask.
- A proven track record of managing large groups of employees as an active floor manager.
