Primary Function:
Our corporate office is seeking a Financial Analyst – Supply Economics to join the Commercial Finance team. This role is central to optimizing data accuracy, supporting procurement negotiations with financial analysis, and contributing to the planning and forecasting of Mastronardi’s contracted grower supply base.
The successful candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated to work across grower data, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Data & Reporting
- Support the maintenance, accuracy, and ongoing improvement of data, including pricing, volume and related datasets.
- Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to support timely decision-making by Procurement and Finance leadership.
- Support the development of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort in reporting.
- Manage key data sources and ensure integrity across various systems and financial models.
Grower Economics Analysis
- Support requests from Procurement, providing analytical inputs to inform contract negotiations with growers.
- Develop and maintain grower economic models to assess supply cost competitiveness, including benchmarking across geographies (e.g., Mexico vs. Canada).
- Analyze grower performance data across key metrics
Planning & Forecasting
- Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast, collaborating with FP&A to ensure accurate supply volume/cost inputs.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Ad Hoc Support
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, modeling, and projects as required by the Finance Manager and broader Commercial Finance team.
- Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Commercial Finance peers, and business stakeholders to deliver insights and process improvements.
Education/Background Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or financial modeling is preferred.
- Experience in agriculture, food, or supply chain finance is preferred
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong analytical mindset with a rigorous approach to data accuracy and financial modeling.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Ability to identify data and process inefficiencies and develop practical solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present financial findings clearly to varied audiences including Procurement, Finance leadership, and senior management.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Experience with ERPs (preferably MS Navision)
- Desire to learn continuously and grow within a high-performing finance team.

- May periodically travel to visit company facilities in the USA and Canada. Valid passport required.
