What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate - A2 Night Shift position at Mastronardi Produce-USA, Inc.?
Our Livonia Distribution Center, a 400,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking Production Graders to join our team. In this critical role, you will work on production lines to sort incoming raw product: peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers; ensuring that all product meets the required specifications for our customers.
Full time shift: Days and Nights, 12-hour shifts; 3 /4 work week; equivalent to working 14 days/month
- Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays; 5pm-5am
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain product quality standards that meet product specifications.
- Assist in packaging/washing set up, as needed, to ensure smooth flow of product.
- Maintain a sanitized and organized department that meets all food safety requirements.
- Must handle all sanitizing chemicals safely, as prescribed.
- Work as a team member; follow directions and offer support and suggestions when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma is preferred.
- Related work experience in food production an asset.
- Proficient in use of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Available to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays may be required).
- Be respectful and deal tactfully with employees, customers and vendors.
- Keep all company information confidential and will not disclose any company information to outside individuals.
- Complete a background and drug test screening.
