Masthead is looking for a Warehouse and Fulfillment Associate to join the team at our main office and shipping facility in Port Chester, New York. Day-to-day tasks include safely, efficiently, and accurately receiving, organizing, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
The ideal candidate is a reliable, upbeat team player with strong attention to detail and the physical stamina required to handle steady warehouse workflows.

Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Unloading: Assist in unloading incoming shipments, verify cargo against delivery manifests/purchase orders, and inspect items for damage.
- Inventory and Storing: Organize, stack, and shelve inventory in designated warehouse locations to optimize space and ensure easy retrieval.
- Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pull items from stock according to pick lists. Prepare, pack, wrap, and label items for shipment in a neat and organized manner to prevent damage.
- Package Retrieval and Loading: Assist with processing returned packages. Transport outbound shipments for delivery pickup using appropriate equipment.
- Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery (e.g., loading dock gates, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and/or forklifts) after receiving proper training.
- Maintains operational flexibility to support various departmental needs.
- Participate in/conduct periodic full physical inventory counts
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: This is an entry level position. Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, manufacturing environment, and/or medical products is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred but not required. Candidates must be open to completing any pre-employment skills or aptitude evaluations required for this role.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, basic math and reasoning skills, fluency in English, and the ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions. Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help others are essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move around for extended periods (8 hours per shift); ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
