Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Media Planner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, with experience developing media strategies and plans that align with client goals, budgets, and audience insights. This role involves collaborating closely with internal teams and vendor partners to translate client objectives into actionable & precise media plans, ensuring ad spend is optimized for impact and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive media plans across digital channels that align with client objectives, audience insights, and key performance indicators. Media plans include detailed budget allocations, flighting & audience targeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative directors, customer success managers, media buyers & ad operations to ensure seamless execution of media plans.
  • Conduct audience, market, and competitive research to inform planning decisions and identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the media buying and ad operations teams to ensure plans are accurately implemented, tracked, and optimized against goals.
  • Evaluate vendor and platform partner proposals and negotiate rates to maximize value and performance for clients.
  • Monitor active campaign performance in partnership with the buying team to ensure alignment with planned objectives; make data-informed recommendations for optimization and future planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in digital advertising, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance digital media performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, platforms, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of media initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of planning processes, tools, and templates to improve team efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of media planning experience across digital and/or traditional channels (including digital display, video, social, search, OOH, and/or connected TV platforms), ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of media strategy, audience segmentation, programmatic advertising, and performance metrics.
  • Working knowledge of media planning platforms, ad buying platforms, DSPs, and other relevant digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Intermediate to advanced Google Sheets & Looker Data Studio skills; ability to analyze & manipulate data and build dashboards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for working with faith-based nonprofits and good-works brands and advancing their missions through digital marketing.

Salary : $68 - $70
