Every week, Masterworks hosts exclusive in-person and virtual events for our 70,000 investors. From artist studio tours to art market talks, the events program is a highly successful initiative focused on fostering investor engagement with Masterworks and the art world.
Currently the team is scaling to 45 events per month across core investor geographies and expansion cities. Previous events include private tours of Picasso: Tête-à-tête at Gagosian New York, James Jarvaise & Henry Taylor at Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles, curator-led tours of ICA, Boston and Chrysler Museum of Art, and book clubs with authors of The Art Thief and Jean Michel Basquiat: The Making of an Icon.
About The Role
We are looking for an Events Associate to join the team who will be responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of our live and virtual events program, ensuring their successful delivery. Supporting the VP and Manager of Institutional Partnerships and Events, this is a dynamic role with a lot of opportunity to get real hands-on experience within arts & culture events and networking.
Core Responsibilities
The base salary range for this role is $60,000–$65,000. Our ranges are broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.

About The Role
We are looking for an Events Associate to join the team who will be responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of our live and virtual events program, ensuring their successful delivery. Core Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the events calendar, tracking all events in-person & virtual
- Logistical Support – own the coordination of event logistics, bookings, database administration, and internal and external event communications
- Prospect potential venues and speakers for future events in the target cities and webinars
- For each event, support run-of-show, attendance, speaker prep, briefing docs and slide decks, and post-event debrief.
- Prepare event collateral – notify when to draft, fact-check event details, manage invitation list and RSVPs
- Own post event logistics & debriefs.
- Work cross departmentally with Investment Advisors, Product, and Acquisitions to support event success, working closely with Product to manage invitation workflow
- Coordinate external partners (galleries, museums, fair organizers, sponsors) on deliverables and approvals.
- Attend and participate in events as needed.
- Bachelor's degree required, major in art history, arts administration, preferred.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to open doors and establish credibility with arts professionals
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage complex logistics across multiple time zones and geographies
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools and platforms to optimize workflows and program efficiency
