What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hebrew Interpreters - Dallas, TX position at MasterWord Services?
We are looking for individuals who speak both Hebrew and English fluently, and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community by helping those who do not speak English. ****Interpreting In Person in Dallas, TX area****
Requirements:
- Have informal or professional interpretation experience
- Are fluent in both Hebrew and English
- Translation services must allow multiple assessors (minimum of 2–3) to listen to the translation simultaneously.
- Translator must be able to connect remotely and clearly hear classroom instruction.
- Assessors must be able to discreetly hear the translator’s voice in real time (e.g., via earpiece), with minimal delay.
- Sessions may last up to 2–3 hours, so service must support continuous use without interruption.
- Only one non-English language will be spoken in a classroom at any given time. However, multiple classroom assessments may occur across Texas on the same day, each requiring translation for a different language (e.g., Hebrew at one site and Mandarin at another).
- Have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience) are required.
Experience in the healthcare industry experience is preferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, etc.).
