Most people don't walk into a showroom because they need a hot tub. They walk in because they're imagining something.

A place to unwind after a long day. More time together as a family. Relief for tired muscles. A backyard that finally feels complete.

As a Retail Sales Associate at MasterSpas, your job is to figure out what brought them through the door—and help them find the product that turns that idea into reality.

This isn't about memorizing a sales pitch and pushing the most expensive model on the floor. It's about asking good questions, understanding what matters to the customer, knowing your products, and creating an experience that makes someone feel confident about a major purchase.

What You'll Do

You'll guide customers from "We're just looking" to "This is the one." And everything that happens in between.

Turn Conversations Into Sales

Every customer is different.

Some will walk in knowing exactly what they want.

Others won't know the difference between two models sitting next to each other.

You'll:

• Welcome customers and learn what they're looking for.
• Ask questions that uncover what actually matters to them.
• Explain hot tubs, swim spas, features, promotions, and options in a way that's easy to understand.
• Help customers compare products and confidently choose the right fit.
• Walk customers through financing options and the purchasing process.
• Sell in both our retail showroom and at off-site sales events.

Don't Just Wait for the Next Customer

Great salespeople know the sale doesn't always happen during the first conversation.

You'll generate and maintain leads, follow up with prospects, answer questions, and stay connected with customers who aren't quite ready to buy yet.

Because sometimes the difference between "We're thinking about it" and "When can you deliver it?" is simply great follow-up.

Create a Showroom People Want to Buy From

The customer experience starts before you ever say hello.

You'll help keep floor models clean, functional, and ready to show; organize chemicals, filters, and accessories; and make sure the showroom looks like a place where someone would be excited to make a major purchase.

Take the Show on the Road

Not every sale happens inside the showroom.

You'll help MasterSpas show up at shows, expos, special events, and other promotional opportunities throughout your region.

That means helping with setup and teardown, talking with customers, supporting promotional efforts, and turning event traffic into real sales opportunities.

You may also support photo shoots, digital marketing, and in-store promotions that help get more customers through the door.

Make Sure the Experience Doesn't End at the Sale

Closing the deal is exciting. But the customer experience isn't finished when the paperwork is signed. You'll complete sales documentation accurately, help coordinate delivery scheduling, communicate with customers and internal teams, and work closely with the General Manager and Retail Operations to make sure customers know what happens next.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely likes people—and likes selling. Someone who gets a little competitive when there's a goal to hit. Someone who doesn't get discouraged when a customer says, "We need to think about it."

Someone who can build rapport without sounding scripted. And someone who understands that great sales isn't about talking the most. It's about listening well enough to know what to say next.

You'll likely be successful if you:

• Have previous retail or sales experience—or the personality and drive to become great at it.
• Are confident starting conversations with people you've never met.
• Communicate clearly and build relationships naturally.
• Are motivated by goals and enjoy pushing yourself to exceed them.
• Stay organized enough to manage leads, follow-ups, paperwork, and customer details.
• Are comfortable learning products and becoming the person customers trust for answers.
• Can use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other business tools.
• Are willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when sales events require it.

What You Can Expect

This is a sales role where you're helping people make a purchase they're genuinely excited about.

You'll get to learn an entire lineup of hot tubs, swim spas, accessories, promotions, and financing options while developing the skills to turn customer needs into the right product recommendation.

You'll work in the showroom, participate in off-site events, support local marketing efforts, manage your leads, and stay involved through the customer journey from the first conversation through delivery coordination.

And you'll be selling something that's ultimately about one thing: Helping people Live Life Better.
