What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted HR consultant to managers—coaching them on people issues, policies, and team development.
- Partner closely with the HR Director on wage administration, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and compliance audits.
- Prepare and deliver HR presentations, training sessions, and employee meetings that build understanding and connection.
- Create and execute a legendary onboarding experience for new hires, including planning and facilitating our signature HIKER Day.
- Represent MasterScapes at job fairs and community recruiting events to attract top-tier talent who align with our mission.
- Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and reference checks to ensure strong cultural and professional alignment.
- Manage new-hire paperwork, background checks, and onboarding compliance—including I-9s and benefits enrollment.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of employee pay data.
- Develop and maintain HR systems, templates, and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Respond to day-to-day HR questions and support special projects that advance our people strategy and company goals.
