Join us! 1st Shift External Raw Materials Grading Coordinator You\'ll be
responsible for inspecting and grading all long hold cheese stored in
external warehouses for regrading all bulk order cheese sold to
customers, and for regrading all product within specified time limits.
Position is responsible for cheese problem solving at raw material
vendors and warehouses, as well as management of projects (such as Aged
Cheese Program) to maximize company efficiency and profit. Of critical
importance to the position, is the ability to effectively communicate at
all levels with customers and/or vendors and to promote the company\'s
reputation so all vendors are managed effectively. This position will
travel between our Plymouth and Oostburg facilities as needed. What You
Can Offer The ability to possess a Wisconsin Department of Agriculture
Cheese License for American Cheese. High school diploma or equivalent is
required. Post-secondary education is preferred. A minimum of four years
of experience in the dairy industry, with experience in cheese grading
or laboratory work desired. Ability to forecast future cheese
attributes. Ability to assess quality and be firm in decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively
communicate with internal staff, outside vendors, outside Warehouse
personnel, and external Quality staff. Good organizational skills and
analytical ability. Ability to problem solve and negotiate solutions
