We are looking to hire an experienced Science instructor to provide instruction in science-related subjects ranging from Elementary School Science to High School AP Level Science. Your role is to provide instruction, create lesson plans, facilitate classroom discussions, evaluate student performance, and promote a positive learning environment. You will teach various science disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
JOB DUTIES:

Your role is to provide instruction, create lesson plans, facilitate classroom discussions, evaluate student performance, and promote a positive learning environment. You will teach various science disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive lesson plans
- Demonstrate adaptability in teaching both one-on-one and in small group settings.
- Assess students’ progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation and provide constructive feedback to the students
- Communicate regularly with Masterprep Admin and Staff on student progress
- Prepare students for their AP Exams
- Provide homework help as needed
- Prepare students for science competitions
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field from an accredited college or university (required)
- Master's degree in Science or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- 2 years' experience as a Science instructor or tutor (required)
- Knowledgeable with AP Science (Bio, Chem and Physics) content and tests
- Science competition knowledge (preferred)
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Proven experience assisting students with essay review
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy are imperative)
