QUALITY ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team on second shift. Key Responsibilities

PPAP & Documentation

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of PPAP documents, Control Plans, FMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.

• Ensure all quality documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal and customer standards.

Layout & Dimensional Inspection

• Perform part layouts using a FaroArm or comparable CMM technology to verify conformance to design specifications.

• Interpret and apply GD&T principles to validate part dimensions and tolerances.

ISO 9001 Compliance

• Support and maintain compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 (and updated 2015) quality management system.

• Participate in internal audits and assist in developing, refining, and implementing quality procedures and programs.

Process & Productivity Improvement

• Identify root causes of non-conformances and collaborate cross-functionally to implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and process optimization.

Quality Assurance & Data Analysis

• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.

• Record and analyze inspection data, generate quality reports, and maintain visual management boards within work cells.

Team Collaboration & Leadership Support

• Partner with production, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve quality concerns in real time.

• Promote a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous learning throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering or related technical role preferred.

• Proficiency in GD&T interpretation, FaroArm operation, and ISO 9001 standards.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and quality data management systems.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
