We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team on second shift. Key Responsibilities
PPAP & Documentation
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of PPAP documents, Control Plans, FMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Ensure all quality documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal and customer standards.
Layout & Dimensional Inspection
Perform part layouts using a FaroArm or comparable CMM technology to verify conformance to design specifications.
Interpret and apply GD&T principles to validate part dimensions and tolerances.
ISO 9001 Compliance
Support and maintain compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 (and updated 2015) quality management system.
Participate in internal audits and assist in developing, refining, and implementing quality procedures and programs.
Process & Productivity Improvement
Identify root causes of non-conformances and collaborate cross-functionally to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and process optimization.
Quality Assurance & Data Analysis
Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
Record and analyze inspection data, generate quality reports, and maintain visual management boards within work cells.
Team Collaboration & Leadership Support
Partner with production, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve quality concerns in real time.
Promote a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous learning throughout the facility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering or related technical role preferred.
Proficiency in GD&T interpretation, FaroArm operation, and ISO 9001 standards.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and quality data management systems.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
