Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues by analyzing symptoms and interpreting technical schematics and electrical diagrams
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, microwave and more
- Disassemble and reassemble appliances, ensuring all components are correctly installed and functioning properly
- Conduct routine maintenance and equipment repairs to prevent future breakdowns
- Assist with the delivery of appliances using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring safe handling and secure transportation
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and addressing customer questions professionally
- Maintain detailed service records, including parts used, repairs performed, and diagnostic findings for each job
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong mechanical background
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in field service roles is highly desirable
- Strong electrical experience combined with hands-on equipment repair skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Valid driver’s license with delivery driver
- Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining safety standards
