Job Overview
We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Roofing Salesman to join our team in the Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) area. Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and developing a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct on-site inspections of commercial roofs to assess damage and identify client needs.
- Prepare and resent professional sales proposals, estimates, and contracts for roofing projects.
- Collaborate with clients, project manages, and crews to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Navigate the insurance claims process with clients, including meeting with adjusters.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and sales techniques.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial roofing sales or a related construction/industrial sales field.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with a competitive drive to succeed.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically able to climb ladders and inspect roofs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and estimating tools is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a commission plus base salary position with a structure designed to reward top performers. The target annual earnings for this role are in the top 20% of the industry, with average earnings ranging from $95,000 to over $110,000 annually, and top earners making well over $200,000.
