Associate Managing Consultant - Consumer Acquisition and Engagement
Services within Mastercard provides value-added expertise, data-driven insights, and execution support to Mastercard's global client base of leading brands and financial institutions. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations : Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational business challenges. They apply a broad set of problem-solving techniques to improve the client's overall strategy, performance, and operations.
This role will focus on our Consumer Acquisition & Engagement (CA&E) solution space, which includes a diverse range of technology platforms, strategic consulting offerings, and marketing activation services. We serve regional and global clients across financial institutions, digital & fintech players, and retail & commerce verticals. CA&E consultants help marketers develop and implement strategies to acquire new consumers, increase activation, deepen engagement, and build loyalty.
You are a great fit if you have experience in marketing innovation and / or a strategy consulting background. But even more importantly, you are highly customer centric, like working with teams to solve complex and ambiguous problems and can build trust-based relationships with clients while helping them challenge the status quo.
Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
- Manage deliverable development and workstreams on projects across a range of industries and problem statements, focusing on Consumer Acquisition & Engagement topics such as :
- Assessing a brand's CRM strategy and optimizing lifecycle marketing performance across channels
- Developing an omnichannel communication strategy for a product / program migration or relaunch
- Building tailored marketing strategies and activation plans for priority customer personas
- Designing / revamping and launching a customer loyalty program
- Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses - synthesizing findings into actionable insights and recommendations
- Contribute to and / or develop strategies and consumer engagement / card programs for large, regional, and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
- Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
