Job Summary:
The Database Architect will serve as a technical advisor supporting the modernization of a case management system. This role involves working closely with technology and program teams to assist with data architecture, solution design, and the transition to a new system, while reviewing existing processes, policies, and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models to support data initiatives
- Provide data architecture and solution design for system modernization efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to model data flow across systems
- Support the review and improvement of processes, policies, and practices
- Ensure accurate and efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing
- Perform data design, modeling, and cleansing activities for the new system
- Ensure alignment with compliance requirements and applicable federal and state regulations
- Support uninterrupted service delivery through effective data architecture and management
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in data modeling and database design
- Knowledge of data governance principles
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders
- Experience supporting large-scale system transitions and modernization initiatives
