What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Master Plumbing & Sewer Inc?
We’re a small, fast-moving business office looking for a versatile, upbeat team member who enjoys wearing many hats and keeping things running smoothly. Our offices are in Redwood City and require in-office work Monday-Friday 10 am – 6 pm.
If you’re outgoing, detail-oriented (we mean it), and have a sense of humor (seriously—it helps here), you might be exactly who we need. Pay range starts at $28 per hour and will depend on your skill level, experience, and attendance.
What You’ll Do
This is not a narrow role. You’ll be involved in a little bit of everything, including:
- Answering and managing customer calls with professionalism and warmth
- Handling email communication and scheduling through Outlook
- Supporting day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks for three people
- Creating and editing documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence
- Assisting with general business needs as they arise (because they will)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to spell correctly and write clear, professional business letters
- Comfortable talking with customers and representing the company well
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Like cleaning up databases, and accurate input
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humor
- Someone who enjoys variety and can adapt quickly
