Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of interior and exterior windows on a variety of commercial and residential buildings using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach windows
- Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, ladders, or other access equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning solutions to achieve streak-free results while prioritizing safety and sustainability
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on cleaning tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols during work, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on window or building cleaning preferred
- Hands-on experience operating scissor lifts or similar elevated access equipment is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, including the use of professional-grade cleaning products and tools
- Ability to work at heights safely and comfortably using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering streak-free, spotless results
- Good physical stamina for lifting, climbing, bending, and working in various weather conditions
- Clear understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights and operating machinery
