SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:  

• Install Mufflers, pre-bends, Catalytic
  converters, mig welding, Torch cutting, and bend hangers 
• R&R Shocks, struts, light suspension parts,
  and simple CV axles 
• Basic Alignments 
• Basic tune ups: Plugs, wires, coils, and fuel
  system clean 
• Belt and hose replacements 
• AC recharges 
• Flat repair and tire rotations 
• Tire installation and maintenance 
• Calibrating TPMS sensors 
• Test Drives 
• Safety and Emissions tests 
• Engine code reads and light diagnostics 
• Perform brake inspections 
• Replace pads, shoes, rotors and drums 
• R&R Calipers 
• Fluid flushes 
• Oil changes and some fluid changes 
• Oil, cabin, air, and transmission filter
  replacement. 
• Light bulbs and batteries testing and
  replacement 
• Light duty maintenance and repairs 
• Be able to sell and promote products accurately
  with confidence 
• Build relationships with new and existing
  customers 
• Excellent customer service 
• Make recommendations to customers
  and explain additional services based on the manufacturer’s
  recommendations 
• Maintain and promote the company and brand 
• Ensure shop area is safe and clean 
• Assist other team members when needed 
• Comply with company policies and handbook 
• All other duties assigned 

Qualifications:  

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent 
• 2 years’ experience as a technician in a
  professional setting. 
• Brake repair experience 
• Safety and Emissions licenses 
• Customer service experience a plus 
• Must hold a current/valid driver’s license, have
  a clean driving record, and must pass a background check. 
• Attention to detail in all their automotive
  work. It is extremely important that we have a minimum “comeback” rate,
  and that all our customer’s repairs are completed correctly the first time  
• Basic computer skills 
• Tool ownership 
• Welding Experience 
• 1-year diagnostic experience preferred 
• Scan tool experience 
• Some ASE certifications a plus
