Assistant Instructor – Job Description
- Support the Head Instructor in leading Taekwondo classes for children and adults.
- Assist students with techniques, forms, and drills while ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating discipline, respect, and Taekwondo spirit.
- Help organize events such as belt tests, tournaments, and camps.
- Encourage and motivate students, fostering a family-like and supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Black Belt in Taekwondo (minimum 1st Dan)
- Passion for teaching and working with children
- Reliable, responsible, and a positive team player
- Prior teaching or assistant experience is a plus but not required
Head Instructor – Job Description
- Lead and oversee Taekwondo classes across different age groups and skill levels.
- Design and implement structured training programs from beginner to advanced.
- Mentor and guide Assistant Instructors, ensuring consistent teaching quality.
- Promote the values of confidence, respect, focus, and perseverance inside and outside the dojang.
- Coordinate special events such as belt promotion tests, demonstrations, and community activities.
Qualifications
- Black Belt in Taekwondo (3rd Dan or higher preferred)
- Strong teaching and leadership experience in martial arts
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff
- Commitment to creating a professional yet family-oriented training environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
