What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard - Swing Morning position at Master Guard Security?
The physical location of this post is in the city of Palmdale.
You will work collaboratively with other guards and staff members. The job location and schedule are fixed and will not change.
Shifts Available:
Thursdays-Sundays
Morning Shift: 6AM-2PM
We are actively hiring and request that applicants be available for an interview either on the same day or the next day after applying.
Responsibilities:
- Shelter Entrance Monitoring: Supervise the main entrance, which is the sole entry and exit point for participants, staff, partners, and vendors. Approve the entry and exit of visitors, guests, and others.
- Bag & Person Screening: Conduct thorough searches of participants and their belongings each time they enter the shelter to ensure safety and security. Treat all participants with respect and professionalism during the screening process.
- Premises Patrol: Regularly patrol the premises to detect and prevent signs of intrusion, ensuring the facility’s security. Report and address any issues as necessary.
- Shelter Safety: Monitor the shelter to ensure safe operations during patrols. Report and correct any spills, unsafe conditions, or faulty equipment. Assist clinical and case management staff as needed and conduct dorm and perimeter patrols.
